  • How to Think - Helpful Tip Number One - Ask Yourself This One Question  By : Elsa Schieder
What people want, I have heard over and over again, is HOW TO material. How to nail. How to hammer. How to knit. How to sew. I couldn't see myself providing any of that. And then it hit me. There is one How To area I'm rather an expert in, and where I'd be delighted to give tips and pointers. How To Think. Today: How To Think - Tip Number One. The tip: ask yourself the following question.

  • Yes, It Really Is That Simple  By : J.J. Jackson
You can tell when someone has a political agenda that doesn't mesh with common sense. How you ask? It's easy to do because one of the first comments to come out of their mouth is to claim "it's not that simple" when you give a simple, common sense solution to the problem that they are looking to defend. They then tear off into long winded diatribes trying to explain why things are not "that simple".

These are the last days. In the coming revival, we are not only going to see signs and wonders but I believe we will also see a revival of doctrine. Too much false christian doctrine is presently floating around out there. I believe Jesus is abruptly bringing it all to an end
  • Use "The Secret," Jesus Used It  By : Charles Neshah
In life, there is no supposition, no accident, no mistake; all you see were brought about by thoughts. The thoughts of the MASTER-mind brought about creation; the thoughts of inventors bring about inventions of different types (good or bad), so do your thoughts bring for you your reality. The Law Of Attraction is the basis of all that is!
  • The Failures of Multiculturalism  By : Aidan Maconachy
A fundamental hypocrisy lies at the root of the problematic European experiment with multiculturalism, and it is the view that multiculturalism is a sort of creche for immigrants. The host societies have never viewed themselves as equal partners in the multicultural mosaic.

  • The 'Porkmeisters' - Cloaked In Secrecy - Ply Their Trade Of Separating Tax Payers  By : Dale Rogers
Jimmy Stewart's character portrayed in "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" would have been right at home last week in Washington D.C. surrounded by the "Porkmeisters" of the current day. Deja vu here we go again. Conveniently, the closure rule has been simplified removing the spectacle of a 'elected citizen' fighting with the Filibuster Rule. The difference here is that this spectacle occurred in the "House Of Representatives". The strongest example of an oxymoron if they're ever was one.

  • To Apologize or Not?  By : Samantha Schmalfuss

  • There's No Such Thing as a Stupid Question, Really?  By : Darrell Causey
Ever since I began teaching (26 years ago), I have heard hundreds of teachers, parents and administrators declare that there is no such thing as a stupid question. I even believed it at one time myself. But the longer I taught and the better I became at my craft, I realized that this statement just wasn't true. There is such a thing as a stupid question.

  • Islamists And Their Leftist Enablers  By : Aidan Maconachy
It's not unreasonable to require Muslim immigrants to adapt. After all they chose to move to a culture that is for the most part secular. There should be no prohibition on the practice of their religion - simply the entirely reasonable expectation that they don't make the public practice of a religious lifestyle an obstacle to integration.

The Law of Attraction has become a very popular subject these days, as well as a target for criticism. Some people are starting to ask questions like: How does the Law of Attraction explain events like 9/11? When we view the world from a Christian perspective, we know why there is evil and what can be done about it.

  • Social Dispute - The Death Penalty  By : Eric Hartwell
If someone murdered a member of my family or a close friend, I would wish that person to receive the death penalty. I am sure that this view is based on pure emotion, nothing less. But that is how I feel.
  • No Thank You, Mr. Hunter  By : C. M. Clifton
In my eyes, Mr. Hunter is just another "critic" who took the opportunity to kick New Orleans in the one weakened knee that the city currently stands on, and I say "no thank you" to Mr. Hunter and his negative publicity.
  • When the Clouds Turn to Dust  By : Gary Kurz
Many Christians buy into secular philosophy without even knowing they have done so. They forget that the enemy is clever, deceitful ad above all, subtle. If we focus on the greatness of God, many of the vain deceits of the world will not impact upon us.

  • What Does Time Mean To You?  By : Joseph Silver

  • We Live in an Over Communicated World, and Now We Can Hide Behind Our Emails  By : Ed Bagley
The advent of the computer and email has been a godsend to communication, but whether it is deeper or more meaningful is another question. Some people are choosing to hide behind emails rather than communicate more effectively in person or at least over the phone. If I were to coin a word to describe them, it would be "email phantoms" as you do not hear them or see them. They communicate only in an electronic world. Others no longer answer their phone when they are able to do so.
  • Facts About The American Civil War  By : Nona Nixon
The "Southern Cross" is not and was not a representation of slavery. Slavery was first instituted within our nation by the "Northern United States". Patriotism was not only experienced by "White" soldiers, patriotism was also experienced by "Black" soldiers whom fought within the American Civil War.
  • Religious Tolerance is Difficult  By : Anja Merret
Some immigrants, sometimes-illegal ones, have moved into European countries with strong religious leanings. Their religious and cultural beliefs, which confirm their identity to them, are quite different to the ones practiced in the host country. These beliefs may cause clashes in the host country, which need to be worked out. These tend to be really difficult to address though.
  • Don't Pray For Things To Be Easy  By : Jerry Stewart
Today in America it surely appears that our main objective is to find easier ways to do things. There's a remote control for most every gadget- just about any meal can be prepared for us in inside six minutes- we don't even have to lick our own stamps or envelopes anymore -- they're already sticky when we buy them.

  • The Seedy Side Of Kings Cross Sydney Australia  By : Matthew Robert Payne
I wrote a four hundred page novel set in Kings Cross, Australia ten years ago, and at the beginning of May 2005 just when I was gearing up to do a small self publishing run, my Lord Jesus Christ told me not to publish it and to destroy it. It was a hard decision to throw something away my thesis on sexual abuse and as a survivor I had invested ten years of my life and revisions into, but it only took ten minutes to comply once I knew Jesus was serious. A man has to obey. This collection of prose was used to introduce scenes in my novel that I was going to illistrate with in articles on sexual abuse and it's ramifactions on the street life in Kings Cross. This is all that remains. I trust you may learn a little in these few pages. Kings Cross has a dark side with the abused the victims of rape and incest and the abusers the peodophiles living side by side.
  • My Sexual Past And Steps To Healing  By : Matthew Robert Payne
I used to sleep with prostitutes whenever I was between girlfriends. And when I didn't have a girlfriend or the money for a prostitute; I used to sleep with men. I was what you call a Bi-sexual and what's more disgusting than that - I was enjoying myself. Then with healing I walked out of that lifestyle.
  • Obama's Chance for the White House  By : Jeffery S. Miller
Barak Obama is starting to gain popularity in the polls and is giving Hillary Clinton a run for her money. I kind of like him for a Democrat, but not completely. I mean he's a good speaker and has some charisma, but he's not someone I'd want running this country.
  • Hillary Clinton's Botched Accent  By : Jeffery S. Miller
Did anyone catch the southern accent play by Hillary Clinton a couple of weeks ago down in Alabama? You'd think as much time she spent in Arkansas as the First Lady of the State she would have been able to speak with a southern accent mighty easily, right? She was only playing to the crowd and in my opinion, she botched it worse than John Kerry's infamous joke.
  • Progress in Iraq  By : Greg Reeson
At the beginning of the year, the Multi-National Force Iraq headquarters issued its annual report for 2006. Despite continuing violence and unrest, there is progress being made in all aspects of Iraqi society.
  • Say It With Me Now "You're Here Illegally!"  By : J.J. Jackson
The chattering welfare classes who believe that everyone owes them something are on the march. And what is worse is that there is no shortage of pandering politicians and media types willing to feed their delusional, me-centered paranoia that they "deserve" something based on the mere fact that they exist at a certain place at a certain time and consume oxygen.
  • Christians on the March - Too Little, Too Late  By : Philip Harris
Christians are protesting the war in Iraq, but why now? Has religion brought us together or caused separation?
  • Who Will Rid Me Of This Meddlesome Priest?  By : Donovan Baldwin
Sometimes history seems to be affected not so much by what leaders order to be done, but by how their words are interpreted. Or, were they intended to be taken as they were interpreted? It's hard for me to believe that some things that happen without the direct participation of management weren't brought about indirectly.

  • Giving God The Credit  By : Jacques Gauvin
God deserves all the credit for the plants, the animals and the DNA. There is no scientific evidence of evolution of any of them. All the evidence points to creation. Therefore God's Church is what is important to man, God's religion and God's way to everlasting life.

It doesn't take a genius, life long politician, political scientist or theologian to come up with the rules that keep every other nation on the planet from hating you, wishing you'd go away and deserve everything that comes your way as a result of your behaviors. To spare future leaders of the American people, and Americans as well, further pain, fear and suffering, may I suggest the following Twenty One ways not to lead one of the potentially most generous, kind hearted and progressive governments on the planet.
  • Catholicism Is Not Christianity  By : Jacques Gauvin

Law enforcement officers need to be held accountable for the damage they do to the public.
  • Safe Nuclear Weapons  By : Shahid Mohammed
I propose a theory to make the world a safer place through the storing of nuclear weapons. We should create a nuclear weapons storage facility where all nuclear weapons from all countries are stored and there needs to be a vote of approval from all the nuclear members for such weapons to be released and used. This will take out of the picture accidental nuclear war which nearly occurred often during misunderstandings of the cold war.

  • Do Not Speaketh the Truth!  By : Lance Winslow
Have you noticed lately that you cannot use certain words without people giving you a dirty look? It is almost as if "tough love" is no longer acceptable and you cannot even spank your own children. We are not allowed to see things in black-and-white anymore because everything is perspective based and even though you see something as a problem you do not dare label it what it is.
  • America - By the People, For the Lawyers!  By : Lance Winslow
In our founding documents it states that the United States of America is a nation built by the people and for the people. Unfortunately most of the laws in our society and civilization have been reshaped by lawyers and sometimes in a self-serving way. One cynical person in our online think tank stated; "America; By the People, For the Lawyers!"
  • Cell Phones - An Uneccesary Evil  By : Denise Kelso
Is everybody so important these days that it is crucial to be available every waking moment to someone's beck and, quite literally, call? Having a cell phone glued to the ear is about as attractive as having a cigarette dangling out of the corner of one's mouth.
  • English Doesn't Have to Be Our "Official" Language  By : Donna Poisl

  • The Naked Archaeologist's Incredible Jesus Tomb Thesis  By : Aidan Maconachy
James Cameron and Simcha Jacobovici's recent documentary that claims a tomb in Jerusalem is the resting place of the family of Jesus is wishful thinking at best. These two gentlemen may sell a lot of books and be in line for Hollywood royalties in the future, but it may well be at the cost of some credibility.
  • Why You Should "NOT" Donate Money To Orphan Slum Non-Profit Groups  By : Lance Winslow
Many people believe that if they give money to non-profit groups that support the poor and orphans in Urban Slums that they are helping. In reality this only causes more people to come to the Urban Slums and more mothers to give up their babies or children to orphanages. Additionally, it causes more babies to be born and less discretion in having more babies.
  • Red Light Camera - Bright Way to Raise Revenue?  By : Bob Mathers
With an estimated 50,000 heroin addicts and a dwindling population, Baltimore City uses various revenue raising schemes to reach into its remaining citizens' pockets to try and pay for it's large non productive population. Things such as doubling the tolls on the bridges, implementing new taxes such as the 'cell phone' tax, jacking up the sewage and water fees, etc. However, I think the best scam that they've come up with in a long time is the 'red light' camera scam.
  • Do Slum Dwellers Breed Like Rats - Is That Really A Fair Assessment?  By : Lance Winslow
The political correctness gets a little unnerving at times when researchers are busy trying to assess a situation. Not long ago the Online Think Tank did a study on World Urban Slums and particularly one on Nairobi and the Urban slums there. One comment in the report calling for an "Action Plan" stated that some folks say that the slum dwellers were breeding like rats.
  • Using The Human Bio-System To Fight Aids Naturally - Is It Possible?  By : Lance Winslow
Think Tanks take complex problems and attempt to solve them using simple solutions. Often the simple solutions they come up with are not enacted due to false perceptions of the challenge at hand or created political realities that will not budge. Some times solutions no matter how good are considered unspeakable due to political correctness or barriers set by those who in the Status Quo or leadership positions who feel threatened.
  • Peace For Israel And Palestinians - Why Not?  By : Dennis Siluk
I don't really think Hamas, whom the king never mentioned in his great lecture to congress (today) wants peace, but here is what he said "Jordan's King Abdullah II said Wednesday the United States must take the lead in creating conditions for a permanent peace between Israel and the Palestinians." His remarks were limited almost entirely to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. His comments on the Middle East issue before his departure for Washington were far more critical of Israel than the ones he delivered on Wednesday.
  • What Do You Have To Lose?  By : Terry Weber
What do you have to lose? If you are one who does not believe in God, the Bible or Heaven, you need to do some serious thinking and decision making regarding your future after you die. Christians believe they go to Heaven for all eternity. They also believe non-Christians go to Hell for all eternity. Heaven is a place of eternal blessings and happy reunion with those who have gone there ahead of us. Hell is a place of eternal torture and suffering. You need to decide now, where it is you want to spend the life you will have after you die. Will it be Heaven or Hell? What do you have to to lose should you fail to make the decision to die as a Christian?

It starts with our president, and includes communications we get from our major corporations, television programs, advertising, the Internet, and people with whom we interact. Both individuals and organizations often try to get us to do what's best for them by making us think that their solutions are what's best for us.
  • Ego is Evil - This is What the New Generation is Being Taught  By : Lance Winslow
Is ego really evil? We are teaching kids in schools and even colleges that those people with strong self-confidence, self-esteem and ego are some how evil. But it simply is not so. But why are we doing this? It appears we want to make a whole bunch of sheeple who will not stand up for anything, merely blindly follow. So lets call them the Sheeple of Tierra del Fuego shall we?
