gate39MEDIA Expands Operations to Detroit—Helping Michigan-Based Organizations Sell Globally

This month gate39MEDIA expands its operations by opening an office in Novi, Michigan, outside Detroit, to better serve Michigan companies engaged in global sales and marketing including the automotive, manufacturing, and high-technology industries. gate39MEDIA’s Michigan-based clients include: Consumers Energy, Genesee County, Battle Creek Unlimited, and The Michigan Global Partnership.

“Establishing an office in Michigan allows us to locally support our existing customers helping them create new business opportunities, reduce costs, and improve customer service through our custom-developed multilingual web applications and marketing campaigns,” said gate39MEDIA president Mr. Shane Stiles.

Mr. Stiles is also pleased to announce Ms. Marie Peterson has joined the gate39MEDIA team as Business Development representative in Detroit responsible for client relations and exploring new opportunities. “Having built strong relationships in Michigan over the past four years, we’re excited to have Ms. Peterson working closely with our clients to help them achieve their goals in both the domestic and international marketplace.” said, Mr. Stiles.

Ms. Peterson, a Michigan native, graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in Japanese and minor in International Trade. She participated in a two-year international studies program in Shiga, Japan (Lansing, Michigan’s sister-city)—supervising the program’s students and serving as liaison among program faculty, Biwako Kisen Ltd’s management (program sponsor in Japan), and local Japanese government officials.

Previously, Ms. Peterson worked at Dun & Bradstreet as an account consultant. Ms. Peterson’s fluent Japanese language skills and understanding of Asian cultures brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the gate39MEDIA team enhancing client service.
