Many times, bowlers have been compared (unfairly, in my opinion) to golfers because of their lack of fashion sense. While I can understand how some people might not like polyester bowling shirts, I do not think they are nearly as bad as some of the outrageous outfits we have seen on the golf course. At least bowlers do not wear plaid pants that look like they were chose out by my color-blind grandmother! Well, because I'm a bowler too, I can say that I am a bit biased here - particularly because I was responsible of buying my team's bowling shirts for the past three years. I always try to get something different every year, and I ensure that I purchase classic designs that would look nice both on and off the lanes. Also, I have tried to purchase my bowling shirts from various online sellers so I can get a better idea of which websites provide the best quality products at the lowest costs. I've actually found some great apparel websites in the past few years, and have ordered some truly outstanding merchandise as a result. In reviewing my acquisition history, I found out that these websites have several common denominators. First of all, they present an extensive selection of bowling shirts in many different styles and colors, including the retro designs that are so in style right now. Second, the websites present a large variety of personal options for logos and names. A bowling shirt simply wouldn't be the same if my name was not embroidered across the chest and a cool team logo on the back! And last, all of the websites that I bought from give competitive costing on their products and reliable distribution. Plus, because wearing a bowling shirt to school or casual events became something of a trend in recent years, manufacturers are going out of their way to create nice new designs. This is good news for bowlers, as it means that even more shops will begin to stock these items -- and in larger quantities, too. That makes it easier for me to find the cool styles that players want, and also contributes to keep prices down. I believe that the type of bowling shirt I dress in has absolutely zero impact on my performance, but that doesn't mean I'll wear any old thing I can find at the saving store. As silly as it sounds, I have learned that a great bowling shirt really enhances team spirit, and that actually does have an effect on our performance!
