Home Sweet Home, well we love using that expression, and almost all the time its in a very abstract meaning. We just love the idea being at home. What if you want to brighten up and provide that sweet nest of yours a face lift, what would you do. Well, here are ten things that I suggest to make your sweet home a fun place to be. 1. Get A Fireplace-Now, there are many ways in which you can get a fireplace, from really cheap ways to really expensive ways. But a Fireplace does give you something to look forward to when your away from home, and is a great spot to unwind for the day. 2. Keep Changing the setting of the furniture now and then- Change is wonderful at times, by changing the position of your furniture, you don't get stuck to the same outlook. 3. Lights- Get all types of lights for your home, if you're really mad about saving money, get candles, or use the lights for special occasions. 4. Carpets- You can add carpets to the floor, it gives a whole new look and feel to your place. 5. Gardening- If you've a garden, then make sure you give it a makeover too. If you don't have facilities for it, then buy potted plants and spread them around your house. 6. Get Paintings or Paste Wallpapers- If you've the money, go for the real ones, or go for the replicas and spread them around. Or paste wallpapers that would be different too. 7. Add a Surround System- There is nothing like music, so get a surround system, so that for any special occasion, you can have any kind of music playing for you. 8. Paint- Yes, change the Paint! And don't just add any type, or the really outdated colors, get your kids involved, and have different colors for different rooms. 9. Take care of all the bugs- Its time to get that done, and there is no point in extending it. Fix all the small problems that you have, like, you know, the lights that don't work, the pipe that always works and so on. 10. Go Innovative - Get enhancements that would enhance your nest. Enhancements like- a bean bag, an aquarium, a pet, and so on. In the end, nothing beats just being content with your family, so be patient and understanding and any place becomes a heaven on earth!
