Ronaldinho, the always smiling attacker, became an icon while playing in FC Barcelona and nowadays with AC Milan, where is trying to regain popularity once again, what in fact is happening at a fast rate. Ronaldo de Assis Moreira is that kind of player knows that at some point of the games, leaves the opposite defense wondering “what in the world just happened”, with one of his amazing plays. The 28 year old Brazilian has demonstrated how adjustable he can be. After all many thought that Kaká’s game style would affect Ronaldinho’s attitude on the field and that it would be very problematic, but at last they managed to adapted. Ronaldinho has played on the Brazilian national team many years, so being surrounded by Alexandre Pato, Kaká and Emerson, must only smooth the progress of Gaúcho’s performance in both teams. The AC Milan football club is famous in Italy for their good investments on elite players. Obviously, signing Ronaldinho was one of those marketing financial moves made by the squad this 2008 season and now having Beckham as well, must be pretty exciting for the team and fans. On the other hand, can the English midfielder make an impression in Italy? His career days with Manchester United, Real Madrid and now LA Galaxy, has taken fame beyond football, which makes many wonder if the player’s lack of discipline had put his career in jeopardy. His average time in the MLS and the multimillion contracts, question if maintaining his professionalism and obligation is still under David’s agenda. It is unstated that England’s National team manager Fabio Capello, had a little chat with Milan’s Managing Director Adriano Galliani, to talk about Beckham, previous the Italian club started negotiations with the American team on the deal. The coaches believe David Beckham will be a benefit for the Italians _for the obvious reasons_ and that he will feel just fine with the environment and group of players, since it is something he can adapt to. Beckham’s loan to the Rossoneri probably won’t turn into a permanent contract, because in addition to the fact that the player has a contract with the Galaxy until mid 2012, he will have to perform better than ever for the European team to consider buying his contract. Here is where the deal sounds promising for the British, the Milan has several players that have David’s talent and category level, so playing alongside with someone like Ronaldinho may introduce a new super duo on the team. Another good reason for Beck to practice and participate in Milan for this few months is the fact that besides having played in the European Leagues all his life, the MLS term doesn't run along the European campaign, so the time factor will not be an issue, due to the 3 month difference. Bottom line is David Beckham has a chance to train, and maybe even learn from Ronaldinho, also has the chance to stay fit and study a few tricks in a league that is above the MLS. Maybe by the time he returns to the Galaxy with all the Italian experience on his back, we will see if the $250 million contract is finally paying off.
