Teaching someone to read or write is great for cognitive abilities. If you're not comfortable doing that, you can try other tasks like helping the elderly or young children. There are always people who love some company and this will help to stimulate your mind in a different way. Finally, an exercise routine is good for concentrative abilities. You can do it at home or you could go to the gym. If you're someone who isn't into the whole jumping around lifting weights thing, you could walk. There's a DVD you could buy where it teaches you how to walk indoors. It doesn't take up much space and it's low impact. But before you start any excercise routine it's necessary to discuss it with your doctor. As you can see, there are several things you can do to boost your concentration. You can play games, get artistic, volunteer, and excercise. These are simple lifestyle changes you can make which can have a significant impact on the quality and experiences of your life.
