By: Eddie Hill

For me, she gives me the right to pursue happiness and the privilege to enjoy it once I grab hold of it. For me, she symbolizes a unyielding foundation in which my family can assemble a life that’s more than abundant. For me, the flag’s principle is to build unity in the bond of peace. She also functions as a admonition to others who would like to rob that peace. For me, the flag represents the finer possessions of life… quarter pounder with cheese, Oreo cookies, Nascar, and Country music. Of course "to each his own" on those things as well.
