There is no reason you should need to sell your products and servicese the rest of your life, especially if you have already proven you are very good at it. Start training other salespeople on what you do. If your sales trainees are successful, that means you are ready for this next step in your life. It will best if you have taken plenty of time to produce a respectible amount of sales over a good period of time to teach others to do what you do. And naturally, you would not want to even consider training other people for a sales career, if you have not developed a respectible sales career yourself. Your trainees would not respect your nor learn very much from you anyway. But there is no reason that you must sell for the rest of your life. If you have proven it to yourself that you can sell, and have enough credibility to talk to your salespeople so they know you know how, then you are much smarter to train others to sell so you can multiply yourself. It is important that you continue to improve yourself and how to best teach your salespeople and provide the best techniques and tools for them. After all, you really are still in sales, and you must continue to improve yourself, because now your sales is selling your salespeople on how to sell.
