Strategies for Three on Three Games The strategies you employ in your paintball game will often depend on how many people are on each paintball team. A common team number is three. Three on three techniques are simple, and the same strategies can be applied to larger teams as well. One basic strategy is to assign one team member the role of attacker. The goal of the attacker is simply to annihilate members of the other team as effectively as possible. In the meantime, the two other players have the goal of protecting both the attacker and location or object being defended, as well as assisting the attacker when possible. It is not unlike a basketball game where you have guards, centers, and forwards. Getting Enough Players to the Paintball Field Team sports are a lot of fun, but only work if there is an adequate amount of players. Paintball works best with a minimum of four people for individual games and six for team games. Early notice of an upcoming game will help you gather enough players. Try to alert people to the game a week or two ahead of time, and then call as a reminder a few days before the game. Making sure you have enough players makes this process absolutely worth the effort.
