If done correctly, your chances increase exponentially. Begin with a clean slate. There is a fool proof way to start as if nothing bad happened. Regardless of the circumstances of your break up, you can learn how to wipe the slate clean. Mail them a letter. The letter must contain certain aspects to work. It must be hand written, do not text it or email it. It must contain what they must hear when they must hear it. Next you meet. If you do not have the meeting precisely timed and planned, you will only resume the same old arguments and frustration. There is a simple thing you can do to re-bond the two of you together in the mind of your ex.
