Acapulco is a beautiful city in the southwestern Mexico. Situated on a deep semi-circular bay, Acapulco is major sea port in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico. It’s the bay area fronting the main boulevard "La Costera" that makes Acapulco one of the most beautiful, majestic, popular destinations of the world. The area offers one of the finest beaches, such as Icacos, Condesa, Hornos and Caleta. Condesa is the cleanest and most scenic of Acapulco beaches. La Costera beaches mostly calm waters suitable for practicing sports and even riding "la banana", the fruit shaped inflatable. La Costera area also has most of the fine Acapulco hotels. Alvarez International Airport (ACA), also known as Acapulco International Airport, is an aviation facility located 26 km (16 miles) from Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. The airport is connected well domestically and internationally. It receives frequent flights from Mexico City, and less frequent flights from other Mexican, American, and Canadian cities. Acapulco is 35 minutes distance by air. Transportation to the major tourist area of La Costera is available from the Acapulco Airport. The city of Acapulco can also be accessed via bus. The city gets a number of bus services from major Mexican cities. The buses are cheap, safe, fast, and comfy. The Estrella de Oro bus line offers nonstop trips from Mexico City with service more like of First Class on an airline- roomy seats, ride attendants, snacks and drinks, and free movies. There is a modern four lane highway from Mexico City to Acapulco
